UN Women Egypt Launched 2 parts for Ending Violence Against Women campaign
UN Women’s Egypt Country Office, in collaboration with the National Council for Women, has produced a campaign on Ending Violence Against Women called “ماتسكتوش” (‘Speak Up’).
Part one of the campaign addresses sexual harassment and highlights the need for everybody to come together to end violence against women (VAW). Referencing that the “Mateskotoosh” campaign is an attempt to mobilize society to take a stand against VAW, we are doing so collectively by supporting a culture of ‘Mateskotoosh’ (speaking up) and addressing the problem.
Part two of the campaign addresses domestic violence and highlights the need for everybody to come together to end violence against women (VAW). Referencing that the “ماتسكتوش” campaign is an attempt to mobilize society to take a stand against VAW, we are doing so collectively by supporting a culture of ‘ماتسكتوش’ (speaking up) and addressing the problem.
That’s why we are saying we ALL need to #speak_up
